Before You Build (BYB) is an independent construction risk consultancy in North Wales, built on more than 30 years on real UK construction sites. We protect landlords, investors and developers from the costly mistakes that only ever seem to surface once the money is already spent.

Before You Build was founded by Gary Jones after more than three decades on UK construction sites. That is the difference between reading about how projects go wrong and having stood on site watching it happen, on hundreds of jobs, for thirty years.
It is knowledge you cannot download from a template. An experienced construction consultant spots the substituted material, the quiet shortcut and the underpriced line long before they become someone else’s expensive problem. A technical audit puts that instinct to work for you.
Projects rarely collapse because of bad bricklaying. They fail far earlier.
